You might know him as Jagwar, but we call him Jono. He’s an award-winning composer, producer, mixer and musical director best known for his international success as the founding member of Jagwar Ma.

His list of international collaborations is, frankly, insane: writing, producing and touring alongside Tame Impala, Jamie XX, The Avalanches, Temper Trap, Foals, Underworld, Warpaint, Phillipe Zdar and Cassius, The XX, Markus Dravs (Coldplay / Arcade Fire) What So Not, Floating Points, Earl Sweatshirt, King Krule and Jonti to name but a few. Right now he’s co-writing and producing tunes for Vera Blue, King Stingray and Kinder.

When he’s not between Sydney and Byron Bay managing recording stable Music Farm Studios, Jono is touring the world to perform at iconic festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Primavera, Lollapalooza, Laneway, Splendour in the Grass, Meredith and Reading & Leeds.

He recently produced Flight Facilities’ album Forever and has spent the last stretch producing and collaborating with Tame Impala, Floating Points and Winston Surfshirt. He’s also the MD and Music Producer for Genesis Owusu, who was awarded ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2021 ARIA Awards, engineering his incredible live show.

When he’s not in the studio he’s curating parties with friends like Jamie XX, Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Ben UFO, Leon Vynehall, DJ Seinfeld, HAAi and Ross From Friends. He also played a 6 hour all vinyl set with Floating Points in London at Giant Steps. And yes, it was huge.
