Dave McCormack is bonafide legend. He’s an OG Australian music icon, and that was before he became the voice of the world’s favourite cartoon Dog-Dad ‘Bandit’ in the smash hit series Bluey.

David McCormack, Custard's legendary frontman, juggles touring with crafting exquisite scores for television and film at Sonar. Dave also scores beautiful music across television and film - as well as being a skilled voice artist with some of the most recognisable chat in the world right now. David's compositions have enhanced shows like Rake and Jack Irish, earning him AGSC accolades.

He's also co-composed for Top End Wedding, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, showcasing his multifaceted talent in the world of sound and music.

His compositions feature across highly awarded projects including Rake S1-5 (2014 AGSC Winner for Best Original Song Composed for Screen with “Don’t Let Go”), BUMP, Last King of the Cross, Troppo, Five Bedrooms S1-4, Jack Irish S1-4 (2021 AGSC Winner for Best Music for a Television Series or Serial), Doctor Doctor S1-5, Seachange, Black Comedy, House Husbands, and Redfern Now. With Sonar’s Antony Partos, Dave also co-composed the hit feature film Top End Wedding which premiered at the legendary Sundance Film Festival.
