Dorothy is the friendly face at the front of Sonar, welcoming everyone who walks through the door. With her warm presence and signature bohemian flair, she fosters a creative environment, supporting the studio's flow and making Sonar feel like home.
Following her studies in film composition at the Australian National University, Dorothy joined Sonar in 2025. With over ten years of experience as a flautist, she brings a broad and well-rounded understanding of music and sound across a variety of contexts.
Her passion for fostering community engagement through live music led her to become one of the key organisers of a highly successful local music event in Canberra, welcoming thousands of patrons. This experience strengthened her commitment to creating inclusive, vibrant musical spaces.
With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dorothy brings a natural warmth and professionalism to her role at Sonar Music. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for all clients and collaborators who walk through the studio doors.
