Josie Mann, a graduate from the Sydney Conservatorium, brings a fresh and contemporary approach to Sonar. Under her alias Jofi, she specialises in creating unique vocal arrangements.

Collaborating on acclaimed series like BUMP and composing for documentaries, Josie's work is as varied as it is innovative. She also contributes to the music community through Heaps Decent and is actively involved in promoting gender diversity in the music and sound industry.

Josie’s also been a vocal arranger and session vocalist for several leading Australian composers on international films and series, as well as various Sydney music producers including Adam Bozzetto, Jerome Blazé, Sean Carey and Jason Fernandez. She also provided harmonies and original vocals for fellow Sonar composer Jackson Milas, and Dobby. No, not the house elf.

Josie recently collaborated with composer Jackson Milas on the third and fourth series of STAN’s hit series BUMP and the SBS original series Erotic Stories, and also with Antony Partos on the SBS documentary Inconceivable. She also composed the theme music for podcast Flirties, and has worked across a number of TVCs for clients including McDonalds, Kia, Vanguard, Tradelink and ADHA.

As a music producer for for Heaps Decent, Josie helps facilitate music programs in schools, youth justice centres, refuge drop-in centres and studios. Josie is also an active member of the Australian Guild of Screen Composers Gender Equity Committee, working further towards gender diversity in the music and sound industry.
